Season Greeting – 1910

Season Greeting.  

Post marked Corning, Ohio.  Dec. 10, 1910.  Addressed to Mr. Lee G. Weaver, #94 Tireman Ave., Detroit, Mich.

“Dear Cousin, I rec’d your letter OK and will ans some of these days.  Will have a couple boarders now soon, come down and I’ll try and feed you better this time.  Many thanks for those cards, I assure you I appreciate them.  Mary {Weaver, Alta’s daughter] is very anxious for Santa.  She can hardly wait.  She often speaks of Lee.  Glad you had a good time, come again.  I suppose you are busy with your studies by this time.  Hope you get along OK. Elmer [Weaver] hardly gets time for a good breath.  He is hauling logs.  Your cousins, Elmer and Alta [Brown Weaver]”

Alta was the wife of Grandpa Lee’s cousin Elmer Joseph Goodliff Weaver, the son of Charles Louis Weaver.
