Post marked Birmingham, Mich.  May 16, 1912.   Addressed to Mr. Lee G. Weaver, 94 Tireman Ave., Detroit, Mich.

“Well Lee, How does it feel to be nineteen?  I expect you feel rather large about the head don’t you?  Hoping you have many more happy birthdays.   I. M. J.  [Irene May Jenks]”

Irene was Grandpa Lee’s first cousin, once removed, and a constant correspondent.   Irene was 19 days younger than Grandpa and the daughter of his grandmother’s , Esther Jenks Lee, brother, Oliver Torry Jenks and Eva Seymour Jenks.
